Inspired by Icebergs

As featured in our 360 Hub, catch your first look at the welcoming series of new inflatable sculptures Inspired by Icebergs. Created by local artist Tanis McArthur, these giant icebergs are inspired by the works of Lawren Harris of the beloved Group of Seven. Harris’ work is part of the permanent collection at the Art Galley of Hamilton and a iconic part of Canadian art history.

The icebergs are crafted by from rip-stop fabric provided by our sponsor Fabricland, and filled with LED lights to bring you the stunning colours of winter. Each one will be completely unique providing incredible spaces to explore and celebrate a part of art history in the beauty of winter in Canada.

Arctic Foxes

Then revel at the sight of our signature Artic Foxes, leaping, diving and bounding into the snow. New to the festival in 2020, these playful creatures will spread winter delight as they move through the 360-degree experience. They were also a commission by Tanis MacArthur.
